chasing sanctuary

Bulli Lookout, Maddens point - Coast of Wollongong (1.5hr south of Sydney)

Jasmine jelly served with kiwi fruit and icecream; pot of French Rose tea : Nan Tien Temple
romantic breakfast dessert: Apple Brioche, Strawberry fields cake, chocolate mousse dome: Happy Hello Cafe, Strathfield
Romantic lunch date: Tandoori chicken pizza, Devils delight pancakes, Strawberry patch pancakes - Pancakes on the rocks.

After the hustle and bustle of the surprise party, my love and I decided to go an a day trip out of the city, to visit Nan Tien Temple down in Wollongong and have a picnic down at Kiama. Weather wasn't on our side so, instead of feasting over sushi, pasta and fruit on a picnic rug under the warmth of the sun, we huddled in the back of the car munching away whilst the gusty wind and rain shook our little car parked nearby the Kiama Blowhole. Despite the weather, it was definitely a lovely day spent chasing sanctuary before returning to busy city life. A second romantic date spent was with dessert for breakfast and lunch, however it didn't prove too happy in our bellies :P

  1. I love the kiwi and rose tea. That sounds like the perfect way to relax...that and a good book. :)
